Reports
Reports turn the data you have already entered into a clean PDF you can hand to anyone. The owner, the charter company, the insurer, the tax office — one click, one document, every detail in place.
What it does
- Generates a full PDF for any single voyage: dates, ports, crew, route map, expenses with receipts, logbook entries.
- Generates a summary PDF for a whole season — total miles, total voyages, fuel and marina spend, maintenance done.
- Includes the chart with the planned route and (when you have them) the actual fixes from your logbook.
- Embeds receipt photos for expenses, so the document stands on its own without any attachments.
- Uses your boat's name and your captain's signature block at the top, so the PDF looks like a proper handover.
How to use it
- Open the voyage you want to report on (for a single-voyage PDF), or open Boats and pick the boat (for a seasonal summary).
- Tap Export → PDF.
- Choose which sections to include: route, crew, expenses, logbook, maintenance. By default everything is on.
- Tap Generate. Naucodex builds the PDF and offers it as a download.
- Save it, mail it, print it — it is a normal PDF.
Frequently asked
Is the PDF stored on the server?
No — it is built on demand and offered as a download. Your data is on the server (so you can re-generate the PDF any time), but the document itself lives on your device once you save it.
Can I customise the layout?
Not yet. The current PDF is one clean, professional template. We will add layout options as captains tell us what they need.
